Johannesburg General Hospital June, 2011
Family Missionary Services has always wanted to be involved in a weekly hospital ministry and in June, we started a weekly project at the Johannesburg General Hospital in coordination with Philani Care Foundation. We now weekly donate food, clothing, toys and offer spiritual counseling to under privileged patients. The primary focus of Philani Care Foundation is to help HIV+ patients. The donated goods are also used to help underprivileged hospital patients who come from other parts of the country and do not have the support of families and friends locally.
