Feeding in Msawawa Township running since January 2013
Our feeding scheme is organized regularly on a Monday afternoon, at the Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre in the Msawawa Township, by Marcos Olivera and Caroline Teeling. Most of the food is donated by Woolworths and whatever we have missing we buy at the local Fruit and Veg City. Mostly it has been Sarah and Francina doing the cooking, which we start early in the morning at Caroline’s house in Fourways. We bring the pots with the food already made to the location and we also bring extra food that we give out to the kids that come for their meal. They will then take this home to their families. We often bring young volunteers to help with the project. Many hands make light work.

Soup Kitchen Running since August, 2011
About a month and half ago, we started a soup kitchen. A friend donated the funds to buy a very large pot and Spar and Woolies helped with the vegetables and meat. We now cook a huge pot of stew and then drive around the Northcliff area once a week on Friday morning, stopping when we spot somebody in need to fill up their cups with some delicious meat and vegetable stew and give them a word of encouragement. Last week we had a young homeless boy join us on our soup kitchen days helping us reach out to the poor in the area. Following are some pictures…
Thembisa Project Running since 2010
Hello dear friends,
God bless you all, we pray that you are having a wonderful day! We wanted to take this opportunity to post some pictures and updated stats of our project in Thembisa. We have been assisting the Early Childhood Development center in Thembisa for the past year with food, clothing, toys, bedding, and diapers which we have received from various donors, like Woolworths, Ackermans etc. Please also know that all this would have not been possible with out your support and prayers!

35 crates of food
24 boxes of linen and clothes
4 boxes of toys
10 boxes of cleaning supplies and toiletries
50 Kgs of Mealie meal
2 boxes of tableware
